Was working fine, now on Marriott/Wayport wireless I don't even get prompted for a username/password

I subscribed 2 weeks ago and all was working just great from my hotel. This week I've had to change hotels and now on Marriott/Wayport wireless I don't even get prompted for the proxy username/password? When I send all URL's to the proxy as per my account it fails to connect (the web is working fine with FP disabled)?

Think it might be a firewall at the hotel?

Have run some tests, I can ping XX.XX.XXX.7 and telnet to port 80 but not port 1XXX1, suggesting they might be blocking this port. Is there a more standard server:port combination I can use please?
