Support for Automatic proxy detection

Original Firefox proxy configuration allows for Automatic proxy detection. Unfortunately, installing FoxyProxy disables this feature.
I'm a laptop user and normally I have this feature on in Firefox, so in office it discovers that I need a proxy and at home it goes directly to internet. It's a shame that while adding really powerful proxy configuration based on the URL patterns, FoxyProxy is taking away this built in Firefox feature.

Hi JW,

I've added this to the list of features to add. Not difficult to do at all... I just need to find the time.

Hi!
Have you added it for 2.9 or can it be expected in 2.8.x codestream?

No, sorry, not yet.

No, sorry, not yet. You are welcome to implement it yourself in FoxyProxy, and I can merge the code for everyone to enjoy. Otherwise, it will have to wait until I have time for it.

Support for Automatic proxy detection

Like JW, I'm a laptop user and when at work I use auto-configuration of proxy settings. As the proxy settings are masked from me by using this mechanism, I don't know what the proxy server is to be able to set it manually for use with foxyproxy. As a result, foxyproxy is currently of no use to me, which is a shame, as it'd be really useful to me if I could default to the auto-detect settings normally and bypass the proxy for my defined list of blacklist URLs.

I'll get to it.

I'll get to it.

Show what the configuration actually is.

When you will implement this feature, please ensure that in the logs you will show what the actual proxy is. That would be very useful information.

Please please implement

Please please implement auto-detect proxy type in FoxyProxy!! I would love to be able to use this software in conjunction with Tomcat developing. But as it can't select to "Auto-detect settings" it's of no use. Willing to send a donation if this can be fastracked
