Slow UK Paid Proxy & Problems with FP Video Utility

Hi there,
I just signed up for the free 3-day trial. Main reason for this is that I would like to use the ITV iPlayer and BBC Download Manager. Received UK proxy details okay, but have a few problems getting everything to work:

  • Your UK proxy is really slow compared to free proxies found on the net. Can't get content to stream properly on the BBC iPlayer, even though this is working fine with free proxies. (note: FP Video Utility 32-bit disabled)
  • When FP Video Utility 32-bit is enabled, paid proxy is still very slow. Both BBC and ITV iPlayers do recognise the UK IP address and try to start streaming content. However, I receive error messages ("technical problems", "content does not seem to be working").

Any suggestions? Please advise asap as I would like to continue to use your services.

Dear thompazoni,
I can hardly believe our paid proxies are slower than free ones. Why would you need paid proxy then? I suggest you test your connection speed with speedtest.net web site. Select server in the UK and run the test with and without proxy enabled in the browser. Then post your results here.
