Proxy server requires authentication

I understand this might not be part of foxyproxy but rather firefox, but its really annoying having the proxy server details 'pop up' on firefox on startup...

So basically it would be great if in foxyproxy there was a place under where you enter your information to have 'Proxy server requires authentication' and then you enter and save your username and password there. Many applications which allow you to use a proxy do this. I wish firefox natively had this but sadly it does not.

out of curiousity here.

I had that problem Before & now not stuck under that proxy anymore.
does something like
username:password@www.thisistheproxy.co.uk in the host field work.
a good amount of websites can except that, So it would seem a good guess that a http proxy could too.

(man if only I could program, instead of theorize & do trial & error. I guess I'll need to start.)

Might fix the firefox bug with mutliple tabs

It would be realy greate to have this. This might actualy fix the very annoying Firefox bug that it asked for all Tabs and for all addons a seperate authentication.

Thanks for this great extension, i can't live without it now ! On my laptop it's just perfect. Jumping between work, tor, home etc was such a pain !

Now foxyproxy got it all covered, but it's true that proxy authentification would be awesome

Really requested feature!
Now I use «AutoAuth» Firefox addon, BUT
1) Sometimes it doesn't work properly %(
2) It does automatic every HTTP authentication, while i wish it only for proxy :)

I use proxy's whth username and password every day.
FoxyPrxy is very good, and with the funktion of authentication it will be famous.
