Hello. I am a new user and I have questions. I bought the foxyproxy plus for one year on Friday and right now I am trialing a UK proxy from the paid proxies services.
 
1) When I configure the proxy, the default setting on the tab "Local IP Address Patterns", under the column "Local IP Address Patterns" is just the star * and it is placed in the whitelist. This makes the tab "URL Patterns" useless as all the connections go through the UK proxy. If I edit it and place the * in the blacklist then all the connections go through my IP address and the url patterns that I have placed in the previous tab are also routed through my real IP address, although I have manually placed them in the whitelist in order to load through the proxy. Is this normal?
 
2) To overcome this, I have to go to the "Local IP Address Patterns" tab and replace the * with my real local IP address, which is 192.168.0.22.  Is this the right behavior?
 
3) Following the above, I chose to edit the Local IP Address Pattern. If I type in the pattern box my local IP, i.e. 192.168.0.22 and click OK I get a pop up that there is probably a mistake in the pattern. If I type 192.168.0.* then it accepts it without popup. I understand that the wild card is more versatile but I intend to use this paid proxy with my work's PC exclusively and I do not understand why I have to type *. Can you clarify?
 
4) If I Dynamic Quick Add Pattern in the URL tab, via the keyboard shortcut Alt+F2, the page reloads as per default settings. However even after if finishes reloading, my real IP address is still used. I have to close firefox and reopen it, in order to load it with the paid proxy. Shouldn't the reload take care of it?
 
5) Finally, if I keep the proxy for half a year, the IP address of the proxy will always be the initial one or is it possible to change?
