memory leak

Ever since I installed Foxy Proxy, Firefox steadily eats more and more ram. Generally within a few hours the process is using 500mb+ of memory, whereas before Foxy Proxy it would only use 200-300mb. At 500mb Firefox starts getting really slow and I have to restart it, which is a huge project given that I usually have around 30-40 tabs open.

Not really sure what information I should include. I didn't see a sticky or anything. I'm using Firefox 3.6.10.

I restarted Firefox around

I restarted Firefox around the time I made this thread and it's taking a little longer to leak to the extent I described before. It's gone from using ~220mb of ram to 367mb in this period. It may be the case that I haven't been using Firefox enough to make the memory leak as fast as it was.

Hi,

Thanks for all of the detailed information. With all of the addons you have installed & tabs your have open, what makes you think this is due to FoxyProxy?

Eric

I had all of those things

I had all of those things installed for a long time and just recently installed Foxy Proxy. Directly after installing it I started to experience this problem.
