I purchased the paid proxy service for the U.S., however when I try to access a video on Hulu it says, "Sorry we are unable to stream this video. Please check your internet connection and try again". I am using the video utility and foxyproxy plus….works for any other US base video content provider except Hulu

Hulu Issue

It is configured properly and was working for a few days then it just stop. Maybe it has something to do with the IP and I am using the video utility on windows.
The same program I am trying to view on Hulu I can go to the network where it’s available and it works fine hence my reason for thinking it’s an IP issue with Hulu

I have just tried Hulu again and it worked. Please always follow this sequence in order to make Hulu work:
1. Instal the video utility (if hasn't installed yet)
2. Start the utility
3. Configure the utility with proxy IP and prot provided
4. Enable the utility
5. Start Firefox, in FoxyProxy choose 'Use proxy ***.***.***.*** for all URLs'
6. Open www.hulu.com
This helps to watch Hulu on Windows based computers. If Hulu doesn't work it probably caused by insufficient Internet speed, please perform speedthest described here http://foxyproxy.mozdev.org/proxyservice/faq.html#slow

I call bull on the video utility configuration. I've got it configured exactly as stated, and still get the same error message as the user above. I tested this before I left the United States, and it worked fine. Now, I can't get Hulu to load. Everything else seems to work fine. In fact, Hulu's ads seem to stream just fine. It's the actual videos that aren't working.

It worked well, right during the commercial an authentication window popped up two times (it was caused by the video utility). I t is important to make sure that the window appears and the right credentials entered (I used FoxyProxy Standard plugin). Does the window appear for you?
Two different OS same issue
I am experiencing the same issue ads are fine but the actual videos or movies aren't working, it was working for awhile on Win 7, anyway I also purchase foxyproxy plus for my MB Pro funning OS X 10.6.3 today same issue. Username pp=lucidfear

I think since I answered that in my above reply prior to this, it's sufficient to say I'm using Windows 7 only once. Also, since we're talking about a Firefox plugin... my browser is Firefox.

Hulu Error: "Sorry we are unable to stream this video..."
It worked fine for months and then stopped working a couple days ago.
Nothing changed that I know of.
It does *not* give the message about the location. It plays all or part
of the ads and the pauses for several seconds, then displays the message
about not being able to stream this video.
NetFlix and cbs.com work fine.

I have been using Foxyproxy Plus for a couple of years now. Recently got a new laptop with Win 7. I have had Vista in the past and managed to work through all of my Hulu problems. I can no longer stream Hulu and just renewed a whole year with a paid proxy service. The video utility is configured properly, the license verification screen pops up and verifies me, and I get the Hulu commercials. But when I try to play the video, I get, "Sorry, we are unable to stream this video. Please check your internet connection and try again." Nothing else has changed.

Please write at support@leahscape.com and we will try another proxy for you. Making Hulu to work is a very tricky process. Either something (besides Windows 7) has changed in your configuration or the proxy has been blacklisted, anyway we will try too find a solution.
