I Have used This site when first first trying it out. In My test I did not need a SOCKS Proxy, but that could have been skewed as it was a lab test done in the states. (vs. A real world test in say Canada.) There is a possibility that this does not work with a http Proxy (based on a cousin in Sweden trying this.)
Anyhow, My Recent Post Here Has yet to receive any replies that it didn't help.

Hulu not making it
I've setup everything you mention to get video working including the download of FoxyProxy Windows Utility. Hulu doesn't say I'm out of the service area- it just says "unable to load video". It used to work with an anonymous proxy server a few weeks ago and then they detected it, and it started telling me I'm out of the service area. So it appears FoxyProxy stops that, but the videos still don't play.
forgot to mention conflict with Skype

The utility (enabled) is absolutely necessary to make hulu work.
You can disable the
You can disable the FoxyProxy Video Utility when you need to use skype. If for some reason you must use skype and hulu and the exact same time, you're out of luck.
