How to listen to an internet radio station that requires me to be from the US to listen? (I am a non-US internet user)

Hello I am an internet user that came across this good internet radio site. But it requires that I be a US resident(I am not from the USA) When I click the radio player, it says "your IP address is non US, and this option is only for US residents" Can I still listen using proxy servers? Please give step by step instructions or point me to the appropriate help file/s. Thank you in advance.

I put the patterns for pandora on the forums here.
when your listening to the station, there may be a plugin that would allow it, or it may not allow it.
I can't rule anything out, but if your using firefox, foxyproxy may help.

Hi,

Did you read any of the help files at http://foxyproxy.mozdev.org/help.html ?

I will start working on it. I have some ideas.

I will start working on it. I have some ideas. I want to test them first.

Have you tried using the option Use Proxy "example" for all url's?
if you did, did it play?
some proxies that may help.

I will be looking for a pattern (or seeing if one is possible)

two patterns seem to be needed...

*://www.streamaudio.com/stations/*
*://www.streamaudio.com/Player/*

I'll be able to test this myself in a little while, if it works please tell us in this post, if it doesn't tell us,

I am in the US at the moment, so my test may be off. thus your comments are valuable.

1nf0c0p411, I have a UK proxy you can use for testing those patterns if you like. Shoot me an email and I'll send you the details. Also, btw, if you're not in the US, you can just use the whitelist wildcard pattern "*" to see if it works first... then refine the patterns after.

This site relays on another program

in my case that's Totem, for a windows user it would probably be Windows Media Player.
I am starting on this again. I still don't know if the steps above worked for you, so if you could let us know if you tried it yet & if it helped
