How to configure/adjust proxy from text file? autom.proxy ?

Sometimes I would like to work with a proxy.
In general I can setup my favorite proxy through the FF options manually.
But what, if I want to select the proxy dynamically from a text file?
Say this textfile contains a couple of proxy IP+ports in the format e.g.:
111.111.111.111:8080
222.222.222.222.80.
....
121.121.121.121:8080
Firefox should now pick a suitable proxy out of this textfile and try to connect.
If it is not successful the next proxy from the textfile should be tried.
How can I setup such a proxy configuration with FoxyProxy?
Maybe I have to use an additional automatic proxy script?
But how to write it (under WinXP) ?

Yeah, i have a ton of lists that i just want to upload to FoxyProxy. It would really make the testing of each one go alot faster.
Tons of proxies
Every time I hear "tons of proxy lists" I always think of people who downloaded these lists freely from [http://foxyproxy.mozdev.org/proxylists.html proxy list web sites]
Unfortunately these free proxy lists are useless since most of the proxies published there are down. This is due to the nature of the open free proxy.
Imagine you feed FoxyProxy with these open proxy lists and wait for ages while the program tries each proxy one by one.
The solution is to use private proxy which was set up specifically for you. If you need such a proxy service in US/UK please visit [http://foxyproxy.mozdev.org/proxyservice/ this page].

There is a really genial tool "Charon" which searches and maintains a list of
working (!) proxies:

It's not in 2.9.. However, the code to create new proxy from selected/highlighted text is mostly there, and will be ready in 2.9.1. It was described here. After that is done, I will work on this request. It is top-priority for me.
