How can I use Sock4a?

Hi all!
When I try configure the proxy settings SOCKS v4 and 4a are together. So, how can I use SOCKS v4a instead of SOCKS v4? The problem of the SOCKS v4 is that don't forward DNS request to the proxy and the tor complain about that.

I'm not an expert in the field, but I think that socks5 have support of UDP, so, then why when I check socks5 the new option don't work? I mean, tor still complain.
 
All is perfect with socks4a is selected.

When I set SOCKS4a the message don't show.

Well, FoxyProxy 2.16 (and above) with SOCKS 5 perform remote DNS lookups providing you check "Use this proxy for all DNS lookups" -- see screenshot here.

So you can ignore that message if you follow my instructions. Unfortunately, I had to remove public availability of 2.16 temporarily because of a bug for non-English Firefox installations. Contact me at eric dot jung at yahoo dot com if you want it anyway before I can fix and release as 2.17.

I install 2.16 and all go well cause I have an English installation, so I will kepp the 2.16 version.
