Maybe I'm missing something, however how can I tell in a glace what proxy my current page is using?
The assumption here is that one has multiple proxies, and is using the mode "use proxies based on their pre-defined patterns".

The log should show the proxy used for the page you just loaded.
Also, with the new SVG-color-based-on-proxy icon, will you be able to tell which proxy was used last when using "use proxies based on their pre-defined patterns".
Its actually done, but not committed yet.
Go to the FoxyProxy Log page
Go to the FoxyProxy Log tab to see which proxies were used. Note that a webpage may use multiple proxies when loaded, depending on the rules you've defined.
my suggestion was more that
my suggestion was more that any one tab you could look at the bottom and see the "main" proxy that it used (i.e. for the main URL, c.f. followup images etc)
