FoxyProxy with forums.

Hi, this is probably a simple question. Would using Proxies with FoxyProxy work with changing my IP on forums? I've read that your posts on forums contain your IP address for tracking. I've also confirmed some with seeing my own IP on my posts. It feels a little umcomfortable with it in the open like that. I guess the main question I'm asking, is if I purchased a Proxy from the site, and used it for certain forums, would they only be able to track the Proxy IP I'm using, and only that? Or can they still find out my real IP underneath that?
If any of this doesn't make sense in how I said it, please let me know, thanks.

But that's just for you guys, right? It won't be seen at all on the forums with Admins or moderators?

Just be sure to set

Just be sure to set FoxyProxy to "Use Proxy XXXX for all URLs". Alternatively, use FoxyProxy Basic & you don't have to worry about that setting.

The notice about retaining logs has nothing to do with FoxyProxy the Firefox addon. It is only for our proxy services, if you choose to use them. If you use your own proxy server or a free one, the statement about retaining logs doesn't apply.
