FoxyProxy Firefox can't install

Hi all and a happy new year,

I'm trying to install FoxyProxy 2.8.10 to no avail. In fact I uninstalled a bunch of extensions in case any were interefering and now can't reinstall those either... :( Is there a way to "force" install an XPI pack?

Hi,

What are you trying to install FoxyProxy to? Firefox or something else such as Flock or Songbird?
What is the error message, if any?
What happens if you try File->Open File and open the XPI (saved locally)?
