Foxyproxy causes error when opening local internet shortcut.

On my Windows XP SP2 box, running FF 3.0.3 foxyproxy will cause the error outlined here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Windows_error_opening_Internet_shortcut_or_loc...

This behavior can be avoided by disabling foxyproxy in addons and will return as soon as foxyproxy is enabled. Let me know any other information you'd like.

Have had this problem a long time (FF2 as well). I have the error message kind. However, I did not find FoxyProxy on the "Problematic extensions" page, so I thought I'd register here and report/bump it.

A workaround is to keep a .reg file that you run after each update of FF:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FirefoxHTML\shell\open\ddeexec]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FirefoxURL\shell\open\ddeexec]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\ddeexec]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\https\shell\open\ddeexec]
