FoxyProxy Author Needs Your Help with DNS

Hi,

There have been various reports over the last several months that FoxyProxy leaks DNS queries. I have a beta version that I'm fairly certain fixes this problem, but I need confirmation from someone who knows how to test where DNS lookups are performed. If you are able to help me, please contact me at eric dot jung at yahoo dot com. You'll need a SOCKS5 proxy server for testing.

Testing DNS

I can help test with this.
Using wireshark you can monitor your traffic. If you see a DNS query (port 53) for the websites you are browsing then you know its leaking.

Thanks everyone for your help. This has been fixed in FoxyProxy Standard version 2.16, FoxyProxy Basic 1.3, and FoxyProxy Plus 3.3 Just check "Use this proxy for all DNS lookups" [screenshot].
