Hi,
Running FoxyProxy 2.8.9 on Mac OS X 10.5, Firefox 3.0.3. If I click a link in Thunderbird, it starts Firefox but does not go to the link when FoxyProxy is running, even with no proxies set up. If Firefox is running, however, or FoxyProxy is not installed, then the link opens fine. Is this known behavior?
Thanks for the great add-on,
-Matt

re: Firefox3 on Mac doesn't open link from Thunderbird
actually, i'm seeing this behavior from any app trying to pass a URL to firefox. firefox launches but doesn't go to the link regardless if foxyproxy is running, or activated or whatever. disabling foxyproxy restores the expected behavior and the browser opens links from other apps as expected. i have this issue on Mac OS X 1.5.x, both Intel and PPC.
Firefox fails to receive URL
Hi,
Yes, I've been having this problem for ages but have only just got around to disabling, then re-enabling all my add-ons individually to discover that FoxyProxy has been causing it. Essentially, when Firefox isn't already loaded and a link is followed, Firefox will not receive the URL and instead navigates directly to my hompage (or, I guess, whatever default you've set). Running OSX 10.5.5 & Firefox 3.0.4.
Same here, Mac OS X 10.5.6,

Hate to add to the 'meee tooo' list, but yep, same here.
Disabling it in the 'add-ons' is the only solution. It only happens on startup. If I have firefox running, then it accepts and launches URL's from other apps just fine, but if Firefox is closed, and another app launches it, then it just opens the home page.

Hi, Does it only happen when
Hi,
Does it only happen when the link is opened from Thunderbird, or does it happen regardless of which application you're opening the link from?
Thanks,
Eric
