I'm using foxyproxy 3.8 on ff3.0 chinese edition.Each time I try to open a local .htm file with firefox by double click it,a error message "windows can not find the file,please check the file name and try again..." pops up, But then firefox starts and shows the page normally.
I'm sure foxyproxy is the only problem since this error have not happened any more since foxyproxy uninstalled.
This error does not happen on firefox english edition either,so I think it may be a encoding problem.
Look foward for a update,foxyproxy is indispensable for me ,a chinese.

Same problem
Hi ;
I've exactly the same problem. I'm working on Windows XP French Edition, Firefox 3.0.1 (fr), FoxProxy 2.8.4.
In more, the bug doesn't occur when Firefox is already running.
To help you, I've found that the GoogleToolBar did the same bug in previous version
I hope it'll help you.
Same problen on german windows
we have exactly the same problem with Firefox 3.0.1 / FoxyProxy 2.8.5 and german winXP SP3.
If we disable FoxyProxy the load of the html file works well without any error messages.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I have this problem too.
I have this problem too. However, I use both English OS and en-US version of FF. Some of my regional settings are Swedish though. Might have something to do with it?
Same for XP and Vista.
The workaround has to be applied after each update of FF.
