Endless popups asking for password

I signed up for FoxyProxy Plus, paid the money, but it doesn't work.
After installing and configuring the plugin, as soon as I try to load a web page, the name/password dialog box pops up asking for my credentials.. I enter them, then another one pops up.. ad infinitum. I've had as much as 15 of these damn boxes opening on their own at once.. have to force quite Firefox.
I've also tried it in Chrome, with the same results.
Yes, I've triple-checked that I'm entering the right info. It never gives an error, just keeps popping up the same dialogs and doesn't do anything else.
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 (latest version) with Firefox 3.5.7 (latest version).

FoxyProxy does not work with Google Chrome.
Having said that, if you're manually typing your email address and license key, and it doesn't work, please do contact me directly at eric dot jung at yahoo dot com. It sounds, however, like you're using our proxy service and not FoxyProxy Plus? In any case, please email me.

Hi, I just upgraded to plus and I'm using Firefox. Foxyproxy works but I too get endless pop ups of the same nature, when I'm using it, and when I'm not using it. Is there some way to stop these?
