i read that this addons enable to donwload from rapidshare if you have a fixed IP
but i don't know how
i would like to import a file with proxys and check them with one click, but that option i can't find it
any ideas?
i also read that this addon will bypass the download limit on rapidshare
im pretty new to proxy's and stuff like that but from what i understand foxyproxy should be able to change your proxy to something different every few minutes? or am i way off
help would be nice :)
how does one set this up to, given a particular filter, change the proxy every few minutes? frankly what i'd like to do is to be able to click on the icon and have it cycle through my proxies. is that possible?
To cycle through proxies by clicking on the FoxyProxy icon, open FoxyProxy and go to the Global Settings tab. There you can configure how cycling is done when clicking on the icon.
i see the problem now. let's say i have 5 proxies, all with the same rule, because i use them at different times for the same site. i don't want to use those proxies for any other site. though i can cycle through all the enabled proxies, i only have one of those 5 enabled at a time. is there a way to blacklist everything that doesn't match a pattern?
is there a way to blacklist everything that doesn't match a pattern?
This is what the Default proxy does. It's a "catch-all". Whatever doesn't match other proxies will "fall-through" and load with the Default settings.
However, would it be helpful if I changed the "cycle mode" stuff so you could choose which proxies are cycled instead of cycling through ALL enabled proxies?
actually what would work is having an option for each proxy's mode to be "use this proxy based on user-defined rules." then i could cycle through each based on which one is behaving and which one is not :D and default will pop up for everything else. default only works when using such a mode-- not for the "use this proxy for all urls" that is the only option for proxies when cycling through.
I'm trying to use FoxyProxy for Rapidshare as well. I tried to follow the tutorials and did my best to set it up but i can't even get google to load when i try to use a proxy. I use cable internet with a fix IP and I'm also behind a router. I added the proxy (host name and port) and made a whitelist filter that was "*" (without quotes) so that when i enable that proxy it would allow me to browse any site. So if someone can give me any help I would appreciate it b/c i'm totally lost. So if there is a step by step tutorial or something that i can follow (i check the ones on this site) that would be great.
If you can't get even google to load, then you don't have a valid proxy host/port. Try another one. Where are you getting the hostnames (servers) from?
i got most of the proxies i tried from here and some other sites. But i think maybe i set something up wrong or something else. I tried first to use the firefox internal proxy thing under the options thing and that didn't work so i tried this foxyproxy add on. So any idea you can give me i would love :)

not quite
that allows me to cycle through modes or toggle between disabled or not, but does nothing with regards to cycling through proxies.
