Dont open 'new features' page after every update

Every time FoxyProxy updates, the next launch of Firefox takes you to the FoxyProxy release changes.. Can you add an option to disable this, or at least ask the user if they would like to see the changes?  The foxyproxy.mozdev.org site itself is blocked by my employer, and everytime it gets updated, that webpage kicks off an alert to our security people.

Hi,

This is answered in the faq here. Since you're able to get to these forums, I imagine you're able to read that faq link, too, but just in case:

Quote:

You can disable the display of the release notes after upgrading FoxyProxy by doing the following:

1. Enter about:config into the address bar
2. Type extensions.foxyproxy.last-version into the filter
3. Double-click the item
4. When prompted to "Enter string value", enter 999 or any other very high number.

You will never see the release notes page again after upgrading. To undo this, perform all of the above steps but enter 0 for the last step.

Please note that FoxyProxy is partially supported through the display of advertisements on that page, so if it's possible for others who read this thread to leave that setting alone, I would appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Eric

Thanks for directing me to the FAQ.. I thought I remembered reading how to do it at some point, but couldn't find where.  I do use FoxyProxy on several machines, but that particular one is the only one I need to keep the release notes page from opening on, and will also be the only one I apply the fix for.

Thank you
