I have setup FoxyProxy as follows:
- Default Proxy configured to a proxy server
- Mode: Completely disable FoxyProxy
- Statusbar Activation, Left-click: Toggle between current mode and disabled
- Statusbar Activation, Right-click: Cycle through modes
The problem is as follows:
Start Firefox, Left click to toggle the proxy on and nothing happens.
If I cycle the mode, or use the context menu, toggle on and off then works.
The wording of the option sounds like it may be toggling between disabled and disabled.
If so, is there a way to configure FoxyProxy so that its disable by default, but you can left click the status bar to turn on ( for all URLs ) then left click it again to turn off ( so that you skip the patterns mode )
Regards,
Richard.
Hello Richard, You are
Hello Richard,
You are right. FoxyProxy is toggling between "disabled" and "disabled", which in this case sounds like the expected behavior (the previous mode when you closed Firefox was disabled).
I need to think about how to do what you're asking. The short answer is that no, you can't do it right now. If you have any ideas, I'm open to them...

Thank you for the quick
Thank you for the quick response, either:
Drop-down option of "Toggle between 'Default' and Disabled"
or
If both the current and target mode is 'Disabled' then switch to 'Default'
Would provide the single click Off / On setup that I am trying to do.
