BBC iPlayer and Video Utility

Hi,
I am having trouble with the use of the video utility and BBC iplayer while using standard Foxyproxy and a paid foxyproxy from Canada. I want to download files but am unable to do so, saying that it is only available to users within the UK.
I followed these instructions (http://foxyproxy.mozdev.org/proxyservice/iplayer-and-hulu-old.html), but with video utility enabled programmes will not download nor play (message reads "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later."). The utility in the task bar is animated during this action.
When the utility is disabled, the programmes can play but not download.
Streaming is OK but often pauses for data buffering. The speed test shows the proxy to be almost as fast as my local connection, so that is not a problem.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Paul

In order to download

In order to download programs you do not need the Video Utility to be enabled. You only need FireFox and FoxyProxy to be configured to use UK proxy. When you open an episode on iPlayer just select "download the file" or "More downloads" to save the file.
