I subscribed to the FoxyProxy service and my IP shows as UK. I configured per instructions to be used for all URLs.
I have also downloaded and installed the FoxyProxy Video Utility (FPVU) for OS X and configured it with IP, port, login, and password. Then I restarted Firefox.
I can watch all the archived videos on the BBC iPlayer site. But when I try to watch live BBC links on the iPlayer pages, such as:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv/bbc_four/watchlive
I get "Sorry, something has gone wrong (Error 500)," or "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later."
I run the FPVU (it has no user interface) and try to load the BBC live video page but get the "500" error.
I do not see an icon in Firefox window for the FPVU to enable and disable it, as it says in the FPVU instructions.
What have I overlooked? I want to view live BBC video.
Help?
Thanks,
JJ
OS X 10.6.6

FoxyProxy Video Utility 1.0
Hello JJ, >I run the FPVU
Hello JJ,
>I run the FPVU (it has no user interface)
There must be something wrong with the installation process, the utility should have an option to specify the IP and port number
>I have also downloaded and installed the FoxyProxy Video Utility (FPVU) for OS X and configured it with IP, port, login, and password. Then I restarted Firefox.
When configuring the utility don't enter username/password there - wait to be asked to do so
>I do not see an icon in Firefox window for the FPVU to enable and disable it,
It should be in the top panel (not sure how it is called in Mac OS), not in Firefox.
