adverts within FP

Seeing as how FP+ is becoming successful (c.f. the notice on the FP homepage), can you now please reconsider getting rid of the nagging buttons within the main FP (non plus) interfaces?

The vast majority of FOSS software has donation requests politely placed in the documentation, or somewhere like help/about.

FP has in bold in the main options 2 buttons, one to donate and one to purchase FP+. And then another button trying to sell commercial proxying services. Also within an individual proxy's settings there is another link to the sold services.

I feel that this firmly classifies FP as adware, and this could ultimately end up being detrimental to the distribution of FP. It also bunches you in with some very sleazy people, and their sleazy business practices, which I'm sure you don't want to be associated with.

Hi, Thanks for the honest

Hi,

Thanks for the honest feedback. You are right. I will change this in the next release.

Eric

Those buttons are ok with me.

They are not that bothersome. I hadn't even noticed them until now that you have mentioned it. And they can't bother anyone since they are only visible when you use the options window which is not very often in my case.
