4OD

 Hello everybody,
Thanks to you, I can now watch ITV :)
But I was wondering if anyone knew how to watch 4od (which is my favorite channel), ie if anyone had found patterns (still haven't fully understood what they were, but now know that they usually make things work :) ) & could share them here.
Thank you for your help!!!

I haven't heard anything

I haven't heard anything myself, I need to try to look into it again though. If I figure it out, this thread will be the second to know
(Sometimes it takes 24 hours or more for people to reply, we are all volunteering our time here.)

I am afraid 4oD is not

I am afraid 4oD is not supported at the moment.

 OK...  Thanks for trying

 OK...
Thanks for trying / letting me know!

4od

Is there a pattern available yet to play 4od?
Thanks,

4OD

You do not need patterns for 4OD to work just download FoxyProxy Video Utility.. Great little App even works with 5 and TVCatchup...
Read instructions carefully!!

Video Utility

having a little trouble making video utility work.  Any helpful hints or tips would be appreciated, and thanks Blue9 for your response too.
I could not find good instructions to make it work.

4OD etc...

OK then..
First in FireFox go to tools, Options, Advanced tab, Network tab, under Connection click settings... Select Manual proxy Config.. enter your proxy and port numbers in the top box... click OK and close the window..

Next right click your foxyproxy settings down on the bottom right of you firefox window and select Completely disable FoxyProxy.. Not needed at all ever again to watch any thing!

Close up FireFox so click the X in the top so FireFox is not running at all then fire up your FoxyProxy Video Utility enter your details and and click save details.. makes life easier

Now open up FireFox and head to 4OD ITV 5 on Demand TVCatchup BBC whatever you want for the UK

enjoy!!

thank you

That was great instructions. Thank you blue9. It really helped.
I think I have it now.:)

Youtube anyone

Has anyone tried doing a url pattern for youtube (http://www.youtube.com/*). 4od have a youtube channel which is exactly the same as there own site in terms of content so far as i can tell. I cannot test it properly myself as i am in the U.K. but if i trick the website to think that i am in the U.S. instead of the U.K. i get the message "This video contains content from Channel 4, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds." From this i would assume that it would be perfectly possible to view it abroad. P.S. I am a U.K. citizen with an up to date T.V. licence. I just miss good old British T.V. when i'm traveling.

It's http://www.youtube.com/user/4oD if you want to try it. Please post your results.
